Skip Jumper

A skip jumper is a form of transportation that is found on more heavily populated systems. They are sub-orbital vehicles that launch themselves up just far enough into space so they may be able to re-enter at another point on the globe. They largely have replaced the need for long-range airplane flights, as they're capable of carrying goods and passengers to any point on a planet in just a few hours. MacNeil Skipways is one of the largest Skip Jumper contractors throughout the colonies.
